We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Refiner’s a great one!
Everyone Deserves A Fresh Start!
Why do you emphasize that Everyone Deserves A Fresh Start? We’re glad you asked. The answer is simple. We really believe that everyone deserves a fresh start because we all make mistakes, we all fail, and none of us gets it right all the time. According to the scripture verse below, God loves us and renews his compassions toward use every morning.
Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
We survived the COVID-19 pandemic and believe that God has given us the opportunity to start all over again.
We invite you to come and see, and to be a part of this new things that God is doing in our midst.
What Can You Expect?
What’s the Culture Like at Refiner’s, and How Long is the Service?
Sundays at Refiner’s are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. In total, a Refiner’s service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with praise and worship songs. The lyrics are projected so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out and pray. After which we will have announcements, and tithes and offerings are collected. (Note: As a church family, we believe in giving tithes and offering. If this is new for you, we don’t want you to feel uncomfortable or obligated to give). After the offering is collected, we may sing one more song, at which point, one of our pastors will share an encouraging message and then we are dismissed.
What About My Kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week – and at Refiner’s, we make this a priority. Our vision for Children’s ministry is that your kids would not only have a blast but also have their hearts and minds focused upon Jesus. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, make sure to leave yourself some extra time before service to get your kids checked in -and so we can get to know them!

We are located in Whitsett, NC, less than a mile off Exit 138 on Interstate 85. We are also less than a 1/4 mile from the Burlington Springwood Park on Whitsett Park Road. You will have no problem finding us. Our address is:
